A/Prof Sree Krishna Venuthurupalli is a highly qualified renal physician with more than 25 years’ experience in the field of Nephrology. He is passionate about kidney disease, and holds special interest in the fields of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) progression, diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, and glomerular diseases.

Dr Venuthurupalli graduated  from Andhra Medical College (MBBS with honors in social and preventative medicine). He then completed his MD in Internal Medicine and DM in Nephrology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, a premier medical and research institution in Chandigarh, India. After completing his FRACP from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2008, Dr Venuthurupalli has been working as a senior consultant with Queensland Health, and was formerly the director of renal services for one of the largest regional hospitals in South East Queensland. Dr Venuthurupalli is recently promoted as Associate professor with the University of Queensland, and he has completed his PhD on the Chronic Kidney Disease Queensland (CKD.QLD) Project with the University of Queensland- Centre for chronic disease.

A/Prof Sree Krishna Venuthurupalli has an impressive research profile and published extensively in national and international journals. He presented papers in major conferences over the last 20 years and is an invited guest speaker at many conferences abroad.

He is currently the  co-chair of Statewide Renal Clinical Network ( SRCN) and a member of Queensland Clinical Networks Executive Committee (QCNE). He has contributed extensively towards development of renal services across Queensland and actively participated as a collaborative member of  Advanced Kidney Care 2026.
