Kidney Risk Calculator

Answer a few questions to see an estimate of your risk of developing moderate-to-severe chronic kidney disease over the next 1–10 years. Everything is worked out in your own browser — nothing you type is sent to us or stored anywhere.

This is an estimate, not a diagnosis. It cannot tell you whether you have kidney disease — only a blood and urine test can do that. Please discuss any result with your GP or specialist.

About you

The model was built for adults aged 25 to 84.

Sex at birth

Kidney risk is scored separately for each.

The model was developed in the UK and scores only these groups. It has no Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander category — an important limitation, as kidney disease is far more common in those communities than this tool can show.

Measurements

Optional — leave any of these blank if you don't know them. Filling them in sharpens the estimate.
